Halloween 2013

I had hernia surgery less then a week before Halloween so we tried to keep it pretty low key this year. We started by painting pumpkins!

 The Monday before Thanksgiving Ryan's mom went into cardiac arrest. It was such a scary time. She was on a ventilator and we didn't know what the outcome was going to be so we were off to Seattle area to be with her and the family. It was a long week, but we we're able to get away and go to a trunk or treat with Ryan's cousin Angela and her family. It was great to spend time with them and catch up and get to know each other better, we just wished it wasn't such a scary thing that bought us together.

We went with a family theme this year. Leauna and Lydia were cheerleaders, Reagan Ryland and Royden were basketball players, Royden was the basketball and Ran and I were referees.

Ryan's mom spent a week in the ICU it was a scary week but she is doing so much better. She had a pacemaker put in recently and we are hope full that she will continue to recover well.
