I love this one of Reagan!
Ryland found a walking stick bigger than him at Aunt Debbies!
Ryland found a little hole in the grass and thought it was a perfect resting place!
This is me, Reagan, and Fred the dog that we want to adopt! This dog walked into the school where my brother in law works and they took him to the vet and had the chip scanned called the owners and they don't want him, it was sad. He is so friendly and calm the kids love it and can climb all over him and he doesn't even budge! So We are trying to get things together to adopt him! However a name change would be in order!

We had a great week! It was so nice to get away and relax for a while! We enjoyed seeing family and visiting! And mom, no more complaints about the lack of pictures!

Recent projects!

Ever since we found out we would be buying a house the girls asked if they could paint their room. Leauna wanted a pink room and Lydia wanted a purple room. So we settled on pink and purple stripes! We have been hard at work this week working on their room! But here is the kicker we were able to get "oops" pain for their room, and some other projects so we got the paint for $2 a gallon! What a steal, I know!
So these are the before pictures of their room!

We also were given the beds that I slept in as a child from my parents! My dad made them and they hold a lot of good memories, so we decided to fix up the beds and give them to the girls, and then we gave the girls other beds to the boys!

Here are the beds before!!

And here are the beds and the bedroom after the remodel!
Lydia's side!

Leauna's side!

The whole room!

Ok now isn't that just fantastic! We had alot of fun doing it, however it was a project and I am now ready for my nap! But first the grand total for the room, bed remodel and all was $12
Oh yeah!

New Pajamas!

I just had to put this picture up! We got the kids some new pajamas, some summer ones and the girls were so excited that they got to pick their out! Well they were three peice sets that came with a shirt, pants, and shorts. So when I asked the girls if they wanted to wear the pants or the shorts, their reply was, "all of them." So they insist on wearing all of them! Ryan says they look like little hockey players! I think it is so cute!

My Mother!

I know this is late but I just wanted to pay special tribute to my Mother! My mother is amazing, and I love her so much. She is one of the most unselfish people that I know and I truly admire her for that. Thank you mom for all that you do for me! Thank you for your encouragment and continually telling me that I can do this! I need to hear that more than you know. I spoke in curch yesterday, and I loved that I got to speek about motherhood, so mom be warned, now a lot of people in Oregon know that I have the most amazing mother in the World! I love you and I hope that you had a wonderful Mothers Day! We missed you!
Handwriting on the Wall
A weary mother returned from the store,
Lugging groceries through the kitchen door.
Awaiting her arrival was her eight-year-old son,
Eager to relate what his younger brother had done.
"While I was out playing and Dad was on a call,
T.J. took his crayons and wrote on the wall!
It's on the new paper you just hung in the den.
I told him you'd be mad at having to do it again."
She let out a moan and furrowed her brow.
"Where is your little brother right now?"
She emptied her arms and with a purposeful stride,
She marched to his closet where he had gone to hide.
She called his full name as she entered his room.
He trembled with fear -- he knew that meant doom!
For the next ten minutes, she ranted and raved
About the expensive wallpaper and how she had saved.
Stressed over all the work it would take to repair,
She condemned his actions and total lack of care.
The more she scolded, the madder she got,
Then stomped from his room, totally distraught!
She headed for the den to confirm her fears.
When she saw the wall, her eyes flooded with tears.
The message she read pierced her soul with a dart.
It said, "I love Mommy," surrounded by a heart.
Well, the wallpaper remained, just as she found it,
With an empty picture frame hung to surround it.
A reminder to her, and indeed to all,
Take time to read the handwriting on the wall!!!

A little of this and a little of that!

We had a busy but enjoyable week. To start the week off we broke out the water color paints for the girls to create a few master pieces! They had a blast doing it.

This is Leauna, she was so funny because she would put paint on the brush and then dip it in water and then try to paint with it, and could not understand why no color was going on the paper. It took her a little while to figure it out; water, paint, paper, but she eventually got it down.

This is Lydia who worked so hard on her paintings and loved every minute of it!
The finished master pieces!

On Saturday we went to The Home Depot for a few materials to finish installing our garage doar opener. While we were there they were having a workshop for kids. The girls got to participate and thouroughly enjoyed themselves. They got these cute little Home Depot aprons and got to put together a wheel barrow!
This is Lydia showing off her hammer!
And this is Leauana! They loved the little hammers and were realy dissapointed that they didn't get to take them home!
This is Ryan helping the girls out!

The boys waiting patiently!

The finished product!

Also on Saturday all 6 of us got hair cuts! This was all 4 of the kids first hair cuts! I cut Ryan and the boys hair and then the girls and I got ours cut proffesionally. This is Ryland before!
And this is Ryland after! I thought it was so funny how his ?calleck? would stand up on the back of his head. But we did figure out that if we parted it on the other side that it stays down better!

This is Reagan before. I was a little scared and sad to cut Reagans hair because I love his curls they are like his trade mark and I didn't want to not grow back if I cut them off. But his hair was getting quite stragley so off it went!
This is Reagan after! And I am very happy to report that he still has curl, you just can't tell because it is so short!

CRY, CRY, CRY, TEAR , that is my baby's hair!

This is me and my boys, excuse the fact that I am in their and focus on my handsome little men!

And these are my three men, looking fresh with their new dews!

Leauna before!

Leauna after! I know you can't tell a whole lot, but we just got it trimed, this was also their first hair cut!
Lydia before!

Lydia after!

And their are not picture of my new dew because I haven't taken any, we will do that later! Anyways we had a great week and hope you all did also!
