We had a busy but enjoyable week. To start the week off we broke out the water color paints for the girls to create a few master pieces! They had a blast doing it.
This is Leauna, she was so funny because she would put paint on the brush and then dip it in water and then try to paint with it, and could not understand why no color was going on the paper. It took her a little while to figure it out; water, paint, paper, but she eventually got it down.

This is Lydia who worked so hard on her paintings and loved every minute of it!
The finished master pieces!
On Saturday we went to The Home Depot for a few materials to finish installing our garage doar opener. While we were there they were having a workshop for kids. The girls got to participate and thouroughly enjoyed themselves. They got these cute little Home Depot aprons and got to put together a wheel barrow!

This is Lydia showing off her hammer!
And this is Leauana! They loved the little hammers and were realy dissapointed that they didn't get to take them home!
This is Ryan helping the girls out!
The boys waiting patiently!
The finished product!

Also on Saturday all 6 of us got hair cuts! This was all 4 of the kids first hair cuts! I cut Ryan and the boys hair and then the girls and I got ours cut proffesionally. This is Ryland before!
And this is Ryland after! I thought it was so funny how his ?calleck? would stand up on the back of his head. But we did figure out that if we parted it on the other side that it stays down better!
This is Reagan before. I was a little scared and sad to cut Reagans hair because I love his curls they are like his trade mark and I didn't want to not grow back if I cut them off. But his hair was getting quite stragley so off it went!
This is Reagan after! And I am very happy to report that he still has curl, you just can't tell because it is so short!

Oh goodness. Your kids are oh so cute. Chloee needs a trim really bad, but we tried that. She wouldn't sit still at all. I love the wheelbarrow. It looks like your all having a blast.

Super cute! Looks like you had a great week. Fun fun! I want to pull out my water colors for fun!
Hey! Love your little stick family :D I think it's great how many pics you post now that you're farther away...it's easier to keep up with you (well, kind of keep up LOL). Great news--we found an apartment that's affordable and not too much of a rat hole! And...it's still kind of tentative, but we're thinking July 18th for a wedding date and maybe my Grandma's in Bloomington. We'll keep you posted.
