Weekend in Astoria

Lydia, Leauna, Royden, Reagan, Ryland by the big propeller.
Ryan had some meetings in Astoria, OR so we went along for a quick weekend get away. While Ryan was in meetings the kids and I had fun exploring the area a little bit.

In front of the Columbia boat, this boat used to stand at the mouth of the columbia river to quide boats in the right direction.
When Ryan got off we went to the beach for a while!
Rylands first adventures was making a sand angel! Such a funny kid.

This is the Astoria bridge that crosses the mouth of the Columbia River. It is 4 miles long and the clearance is just 17 feet above the water. It was actually a little scary for me, because it looks like you are driving right into the water, but we decided we wanted to cross it anyways!

The kids all enjoyed crossing the bridge!

We had a great little trip, I love being able to spend this time with my family, it is deffinately a great blessing of Ryan's job.
