On Wednesday March 7th my water broke and off to the hospital we went. I was contracting but nothing too intense. I Labored for 22 hours with out making much progress. At about 6am on the 8th the Dr spoke to us and we all agreed it would be best to do a C-Section.

Royden Joseph was born at 7:16 am on March 8th, 2012. He weighed 8lbs 13 oz and was 21"long. His head was 36cm. The Dr. said he could count the number of baby's he has delivered with that large of a head!
The C-Section ended up being much more involved then usual. The Placenta was on top of Royden so they had to deliver him through the placenta which resulted in a great amount of blood loss for me. They also had to do a vertical C-Section on the Uteras and cut my stomach muscles. Because of the intensity of the C-Section I am on strict orders to not do anything that uses my stomach muscles for at least 6 weeks. This has been difficult, as I can't sit up or get out of bed by myself. We are so blessed to have so many people willing to help. The blood loss has left me really week and tired, but all in all I am healing well.
Royden is such a joy to have in our family and we are so thankful that he is here safe and healthy.

We are so very blessed and happy to have our little man with us! He is such a blessing and wonderful addition to the family! Thank You to all the family and loved ones who have been praying and helping in our behalf! We are so blessed!

Such a cute little guy!! All of the pictures are adorable! Lots of love he gets to go home to. Leah, you are like Super Woman to me!! I always think about you with two sets of twins and now a new baby and just I am just in awe! :) I hope you have a fast recovery!
