Ocean Trip!

Ryan had a job interview in North Bend Oregon a few weeks ago. Our kids had not seen the ocean before so we decided to make a little trip out of it! The kids had a great time. We camped out in our tent and played and had a great time as a family.

Leauna, Reagan, Lydia, and Ryland! They were so good on the long drive!

Ryland found a way to entertain himself with his socks! He is so silly!

This was the beach just a couple miles from our campsite! The wind was blowing so hard, that the kids were freezing and not enjoying it much at first! But they soon got into searching for shells and had a great time!

Me, Ryan,and Ryland sharing a Bear Hug! I sat between the sanddunes with the boys to block the wind and we watched the girls and Ryan gather a nice stash of Sea shells! At one point Ryan turned to me and said, "Mommy look a shark, daddy catch it!" He is so funny and such a boy, it just made me laugh!

This is me and Lydia, she is the one that braved the cold first and put her feet in the water with me!

The campground had a great play area where the kids had a great time burning energy!

They are just the best of friends! I could not emagine one with out the other, they realy are two peas in a pod! Lydia is on the left Leauna on the Right!

That night it rained all night, and poured all the next day! It was quite the site I am sure watching us trying to get our tent down and everything loaded in the car!

This is one of the stops we made and Leauna and Ryland insisted they wanted to get out of the car! That only lasted about 1 minute!

We decided to do a little splurge and took the kids to the Oregon Coast Aquarium! They loved it and it was so worth it to see the excitment on their faces!

So Ryland didn't get but a 20 minute nap before we got to the aquariam and he was grumpy through nearly the entire thing. Until we got to the shark tank and his face lit up!

They would have sat and watched the sharks all day if I let them, the boys especially loved it!

We had such a great 2 days! I love being able to watch my kids as they experience things for the first time! We are so blessed to have such healthy wonderful kids!
