We got some new additions to our family this week! (And they are not kids)!!! A little kitten whom we call Callie and a puppy named Bella!
So Ryan was driving home from work the other night and he saw this poor little kitten on the side of the road. She was so skinny and didn't look like she had eaten in weaks so he brought her home! She is such a gentle kitten and has already put up with so much from my kids!
We had been thinking about getting a dog for the kids when our friends found out they let us know their dog was just fathering some pups they were nice enough to give one to us! The kids love her! We named her Bella, she is a purebread black lab!

We have had a lot of different breed of dogs but our lab has been our favorite if you can put up with the chewing (we have lost a lot of shoes in the last 7 months!!) He is so gentle with the kids and has been house trained since he was about 4 months old. He has been retrieveing since he was 6 weeks. We love love love him!! I hope yours is the same I don't think I will ever own a different breed!! Tylers trying to talk me into getting him a girlfriend that's how much he like him!

Leah, I love you, girl but I'm afriad you're crazy.... two pets with four kids. I admire your courage. They're very cute and it looks like those adorable kids of yours love them. I loved my black lab. She had a whole lot of energy but was very sweet and gentle with kids.
It looks like your kids LOVE the new additions!!! Travis doesn't want to get a dog but Kaydence loves them so much I think it will only be a matter of time. That was sweet of Ryan to pick of the poor little kitten. It is so great to to have pets that are so good with children and it looks like your put up with being held all the time, soooo cute!
You just had to get 2 new animals at once! It seems like you enjoy doing new things 2 at a time! Have fun with your new challenge.
I want a puppy! We can't have one at our apartment...but hopefully we will be moving soon into a bigger one. Looks like fun!
