Wow how time flies!

Leauna and Lydia turned three today! I can't believe how fast time has gone bye. I just wanted to take a moment and say how much I love my beautiful little girls. I found out I was pregnant with twins at 15 weeks at which point I went on bed rest due to a tear in my placenta. So I quit work and school and layed in bed hoping to make it as long as possible. I stayed on bed rest until my water broke with the at 32 weeks. The Dr. then put me on hospital bed rest where they stoped my labor to give me steroids to help the girls lungs develop. They stopped labor for 5 days and then my little girls came. Leauna was born at 1:30 am weighing 4 lbs 11 oz and was 18 inches long. Lydia was in a hurry and came a short 4 minutes later weighing 4lbs 5 oz and was also 18 inches long. The girls did amazing and only had a short 8 day for Leauna and 9 days for Lydia NICU stay. They came home and haven't stopped since. They keep me busy that is for sure. Leauna is my little helper, whether it is folding the laundry, cooking or doing my hair and makeup she is there to assist, no questions asked. She loves the color pink, care bears, and her baby dolls. She is also such a sweet girl and I look for ward to hearing the sweet words, "Good morning Mom," every morning. Her newest thing to say than just melts me is, "I love you most." She loves her sister Lydia and just hates it when Lydia decides that she needs to take a nap because then she doesn't play quite as much. Lydia is my little mommy. She loves, loves, loves her babies. She loves to put them in brother high chairs and feed them, gives them their pacifiers and puts them down for a nap. She then comes to inform me that her baby is sleeping, "shhhhh!" She loves to be chased and to climb on whatever she can find. The girls also love to sing songs together, there is nothing cute than watching them sing I Am A Child Of God together. They have been such good girls and so much fun! I love them to pieces and consider myself lucky that Heavenly Father has chosen me to be their mother. Happy Birthday Leauna and Lydia!
