Divine Worth

So in Relief Society yesterday we had a wonderful lesson on Divine Worth! It was just what I needed. Sometimes I seem to forget that what I do is important! I am a Wife, I am a Mother, and I am a Daughter of God. I love being a wife and mother. Nothing has brought me greater joy then being a wife and mother. I think sometimes we take for granted all that we have. We spoke of our mothers and what they have taught us and our Father in Heaven and what he has blessed us with. My mother is the most unselfish person I know. She is always putting everyone else first, if I was to inherit one of her attributes this is the one I would wish for. I love you mom and thanks for all that you do for me! My Heavenly Father blessed me with one of the greatest blessings of all. Motherhood. He blessed me with two sets of twins. And although I may wonder what he is thinking somtimes. I am so thankful for all 4 of my wonderful children. They are a blessing to me, and I love them so much.
A thought was left with us that went like this!

Sometimes I wish I had a starry wand
To wave and wish for things of which i'm most fond.
Then I look around my home and see
I have all the things of eternity
To want for more would be rather odd,
For I'm a wife and mother, a Daughter of God.

She gave such a good lesson and everything you said is so true. I'm grateful for your mom too because without her, we'd never be friends. And that thought makes me sad.

Love ya!

THanks for that post. Sometimes as mothers, we really do forget how important our job is and forget about how special we are and how much we're worth, so it's nice be reminded of it. So thank you. I needed the reminder myself.
